The educational approach at Nyamata is unique. Rather than structuring the learning around a strict curriculum, our teachers focus on trying to create learning experiences that prepare students to be happy, balanced, productive, and innovative citizens of tomorrow.
Life is not a why or what but a how? It is not a destination you arrive at but a way of travelling. When you fall, you wake, when things are difficult, you try not only harder but smarter, when you see beautiful flowers you smell them, when you come cross hate, you try to bring love, where you see darkness you bring hope. It is in doing this and more that your dreams become accomplished.
Academic productivity is never an accident it’s always the result of a commitment to excellent, intelligent planning and focused effort.
One of the most useful ways to achieve healthy child development is to promote words instead of actions.
This being the case, serious study should be done in order to stand a chance of a dream come true. Personal studies, group discussions, being inquisitive and being attentive when the teacher is teaching are the ways to enable you understand what you study..
Responsibility is something or is a duty that a person should do. A person who does his/her responsibilities is called a responsible person while the one who does not do his/her responsibilities is called irresponsible person. We can say all things we see whether natural or artificial are made either by God or man.
Growth is as inevitable as growing old is. Nyamata started then and nobody would have imagined seeing it grow as fast as it has. I remember those days when we were writing the first magazine as we used to refer it to as young, something we no longer do because it is grown now. Structurally and academically among the rest, we are a notch higher than we were then.
Discipline department is one of the departments in Nyamata Primary School whose main role is to institute rules and code of ethics to both staff and pupils. Discipline reflects the morals, beliefs and culture of any given society. In this regard Nyamata family would like to cultivate the culture of self-respect, accountability and integrity.
Put a frog into a vessel filled with water and start heating the water. As the temperature of water begins to rise, the frog adjusts its body temperature accordingly.
The frog keeps on adjusting its body temperature to that of the water. Just when the water is about to reach boiling point, the frog cannot adjust anymore. At this point the frog decides to jump out.
The frog tries to jump but it is unable to do so because it has lost all its strength in adjusting with the rising water temperature.
Very soon the frog dies!
What killed the frog?.
Think about it!
Education is one of the most critical aspects of a person’s life. It should be seen as vital as the air we breathe. The key to a healthy mind and a successful person is learning. “Without education, you’re not going anywhere in this world”.
